Capable Kids and Families believe that providing parents with the appropriate tools to implement follow-up therapy activities will result in children making greater developmental gains.
The program has purchased more than 1,700 pieces of therapy equipment for use by families. Families are encouraged to consult with their child’s therapist for equipment recommendations. Equipment is available to address concerns in the following areas: gross and fine motor, speech and language development, sensory integration, ability switches and adapted toys, visual and auditory processing, cognitive development and problem solving, positioning, and mobility.
