Did you know that over 65% of children under age 6 in Phelps County receive childcare outside of their home? That makes quality child care an issue that affects us all! Quality early care and education of our children is vital, not only to the child and his family, but to society as well. Children who are prepared to enter school will do better throughout the school years, in turn providing them the opportunity to become productive and contributing citizens.
