Volunteer

Ask anyone who has experience volunteering and you'll hear stories that touch the heart and affirm the unique rewards of helping those in need.

Funding our programs is important, and we appreciate those who donate money to support the Partnership. but it is also the individuals who donate their time and their skills who are necessary to make those programs work.

You may have wanted to contribute to the community for a long time, but have hesitated to commit thinking that you don't have the time or because you aren't sure where your efforts would do the most good. The Partnership would like to help you find the volunteer opportunity that will not only meet a community need, but will also be the most fulfilling situation for you.

As a volunteer in the Partnership programs, you may find yourself helping a disabled child learn to communicate or take her first steps; sharing the joy and concerns of a teenager with her first baby to care for; delivering educational toys to childcare centers, or mentoring a teenager succeed in his first job.

Read the stories of people who have discovered the real rewards of volunteer work and find out how you can join with them to make our community better for everyone who lives in it. Check out our Volunteer Opportunities to match your interests to a community need. Find out How to Volunteer and contact us. If you are already working in a program that serves the community and need volunteers, you can post to our Find a Volunteer page to advertise your need.

Let us help you make the decision to volunteer--you'll be glad you did, and the smiles of those you've helped will light up your own life.
